Unlike a traditional hotel, Villas At The Colony offers spacious private villas with two bedrooms, a full kitchen, comfortable living space, outdoor amenities, washer and dryer, private parking, complimentary bicycles, and the privacy to relax after exploring Abingdon. 

Our Villas combine the charm of Historic Abingdon with a peaceful retreat designed for couples or friends. Guests enjoy beautifully furnished accommodations, modern comforts, and easy access to the area's top attractions.  The exterior of the Villas in the shape of a honeycomb (hexagon) log design making it unique!  We are local Abingdon beekeepers and guests enjoy complimentary local honey from our hives located offsite in Abingdon.

Each private Villa is designed primarily for two guests, making it ideal for couples. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, and the second room has a twin bed, allowing a Villa to accommodate up to three guests when appropriate for the group. 

Yes. Many restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and entertainment venues are within walking or biking distance.   We are one block away from the Urban Pathway which leads straight to the Virginia Creeper Trail, Muster Grounds, Farmers Market, and through the center of downtown Abingdon.  We also provide complimentary bikes for our guests to use during their stay.

The Virginia Creeper Trail is easily accessible via car or bike from the Villa.  The Virginia Creeper Trail is just minutes away, making our villas an excellent choice for cyclists, hikers, and outdoor enthusiasts.

The Villas At The Colony offers two private vacation rental villas located within one beautifully maintained two-story home in Historic Downtown Abingdon, Virginia. The home has been thoughtfully divided into an Upper Villa and a Lower Villa - each with its own private entrance, dedicated parking, and private porch.

Each villa is completely self-contained and provides the comfort and privacy of your own vacation home while sharing access to welcoming indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. Guests can enjoy the common seating areas, making the property ideal for relaxing after a day exploring Abingdon or spending time with friends.

Lower Name - "The Bee's Knees Villa" (The Bee's Knees is a 1920s phrase meaning outstanding.)

Upper Name - "Birds & The Bees Villa"

Yes! Many couples traveling together, wedding guests, and small groups choose to reserve both the Upper Villa and Lower Villa. Booking both villas allows your group to enjoy the entire property while still having the privacy of separate living spaces, entrances, parking areas, and porches. Together, the two villas can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests, making Villas At The Colony an excellent choice for reunions, celebrations, retreats, and group visits to Historic Downtown Abingdon.

Villas At The Colony is approximately 30-35 minutes from Bristol Motor Speedway, making it a comfortable place to stay for race weekends. 

The check-in time is 3pm or at the guest's convenience.
